Summer Fair

At the Summer Fair this year FOTS battled on bravely despite the rain/wind/cold and made a really brilliant £187.42 selling pots, cakes and second hand uniform.  Many thanks to those people who baked for us and helped out on the day!  And of course to all those who supported our stalls.

Camping Night

We also had a very successful camping night in July, and despite this not being about the money but more about the fun, we made £85 profit.

Hopefully the 11 families that attended enjoyed it as much as we did.  The weather was fabulous and the fete field provided an excellent venue. Again, thanks to all that came.  We hope to make this an annual event so look out for details next summer!

Ragtex

The recent Ragtex collection raised over £200 for FOTS so thank you to all who took the time to donate their unwanted clothes etc.  This is a really great way of raising money for the school as well as being a very worthy cause.  Many thanks to Wendy McNee for organising this.

In the new school year we hope to hold a Halloween event, perhaps in conjunction with the 2*30 children’s film club in the village so look out for details in the coming weeks.  And as ever if you want to be involved with FOTS please let us know!
